I believe, this is oglirnaliy created by Channel 4, a British TV. The original version of this documentary is about 488 minutes (according to Amazon UK), a lot longer than what PBS presented. I think PBS did a great disservice by leaving out a very large portion of this fantastic (in its original length) documentary. I also think that American people could have learned a lot more by watching the documentary in full. I dont know why PBS decided to cut out this much and only run it as a two- hour documentary. I think it would be nice to re-air this documentary in its full length. Regardless, as a big fan of PBS in general, I thank PBS for giving many an opportunity to follow the 4000 years of history of money albeit in a shorten version. May be this documentary will help to open some eyes and make many to start understanding what really is going on in our country and in the world. |
